Your mind is your goldmine. You can create beauty and shine. What do you concentrate on and how do talk to yourself? We must find uplifting words to describe ourselves. We must see our inner beauty. Our words must match what we believe. If you speak of illness, you will receive more. If you speak of health and wellness, you can attract that which you speak. Surround yourself with associations that are uplifting and create an environment that is free of clutter and remove worn-out themes from yesteryear.
I find when others are complaining, I gently remind myself not to chime in the failings of others. Everyone has a story, and everyone wants to be uplifted. A dear friend likes to discuss the news of the day and how she wanted to bet on the downfault of a company. Since I trade in the stock market, I am bullish and believe that stocks are rising. I look for stocks, sector or funds that are rising and align with my beliefs. I choose not to invest in stocks that glorify guns or encourage alcoholism.
When we become clearer about our intentions, it is easier not to get swayed by the news. We add patience and skill to our lives. This becomes our barometer and reduce stress and lessen worry and anxiety. The ability to accept ourselves and not to berate and diminish ourselves is the mark of building self-esteem. We can have a comeback from a setback.
