Work on your own to develop a sustainable marketing portfolio, build your own website, create your own blog, practice email marketing, send out press releases, tinker with Google Adwords, tell stories, help instead of sell, and you’ll be in the driver’s seat with guests …not the listing sites.
Today I spent the morning reviewing my blogs, newsletters and my marketing and realized that 2014 still requires us to connect both online and offline. Find our what the reason a person came to your site, what are they needing and fill the need. I am thankful that I was reminded that customer service can set us for greater success. Make that phone call, reconnect and check how you can help instead of selling.
Gratitude is you best customer service. I googled gratitude and found so many images and quotes that inspired me. Daily journals, apps and words that spark us to create a life with purpose and to help others to see their greatness.
The best quote that I found for 2014 was quoted by Nelson Mandela in his inaurgural speech.
Let your light Shine in 2014
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not
our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves: Who Am I to be brillant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the
glory of God within us. It’s not just in some of us: it’s in everyone. And as
we let our light shine, we unconscioulsy give other people permisssion to do the
same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates
others.–Marianne Williamson ( QUOTED BY NELSON MANDELA IN HIS INAUGURAL
