serenity tea imageOne day you are feeling you are on top of the world and in a blink, there is a shift in your health.  I had been a formidable woman who set great heights and traveled to places that were only in my dreams. 

However, one day I got up and could not regain my balance and this was a turning point in my life.  I found that I was not so strong and an illness can take us down.

I had always tried to eat healthy and grow my own veggies and fruits, but when a change comes it can be swift and the effects can linger for a long time. We can choose to resign our selves this change or we can search out a anew  way of being and doing.  I decided to take on the health challenge of my life and find time and regain my balance in my life.

I work out in my garden, finish projects with a purpose and knowing that tomorrow is not promised to us. Once I understood this principle.  I got up earlier and set an intention to make each day a masterpiece.

I chose not to dwell on the what people said or did, look for the good in the moment and not find as much fault.  Become impeccable with my word and complete projects that brought joy to me.  I did not need to compete with others. Here is a way to set your intentions and track.

The garden became my life canvas and it could change with the seasons.  Since I live in an area that is drought labored, many of my former green plantings have now diminished and plants are suffering from lack of water.  I chose to amend the soil and work with my lot.  It takes more thinking to reuse, re-purpose and redesign.  There is so much satisfaction to growing in a new way.

Gardening is similar to viewing the stock market.  There are cyclic, seasonal ups and downs.  How do we handles these swings and choppy markets?  We establish  protection in a down markets and in markets that bolt upward.  When I walk out into the garden, I reconnect with a view that garden is the canvas and I get clarity and do not panic or become too emotional with the news of the day.
